MISSION

our

CrossPointe Church exists to glorify God by making Christ-centered disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18–20).

To help the people of CrossPointe Church carry out Christ’s mission, we gather each week for corporate worship, Bible study, and prayer. While the church is ultimately the people—those redeemed and brought together by the gospel—the physical space God has graciously provided plays a vital role in supporting our disciple-making efforts.

Like a trellis that supports the growth of a vine, our facility enables and strengthens our discipleship work both locally and globally. Investing in our building is more than a practical decision—it is a strategic investment in the mission God has given us.

"There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all,

who is over all and through all and in all."

EPHESIANS 4:4-6

We are deeply blessed to enjoy our current property and facilities—gifts made possible by the faithfulness of those who came before us. Yet, because of the ongoing work of God’s Word in and through CrossPointe Church, we now face the need for additional space to support the growing ministry.

Worship Space

We believe the need for expanded worship space is a matter of church health. Our current sanctuary does not allow us to gather as one body for a single worship service. It is our biblical conviction that the church should assemble together as one unified congregation to worship Christ.

Teaching Space

Our limited classroom space restricts both the size and number of Bible studies we can offer. In addition, the proximity of classrooms to the sanctuary can create distractions during worship. Expanding our teaching areas will allow us to strengthen biblical training for all ages and foster deeper discipleship.

Fellowship Space

Our current entryway limits meaningful interactions and does not provide a welcoming environment for guests. We also lack adequate indoor space for the church to gather and fellowship together. Creating space for connection and community is essential for encouraging relationships within the body.

CrossPointe Church is a multi-generational community of believers. For over 40 years, God has graciously used the gospel witness of our local church in Monroe, Michigan to bring hundreds of people to saving faith—for His eternal glory. Through a steadfast commitment to the inerrancy of Scripture, The Lord has also used our congregation to disciple thousands more in our community.

We believe that the Building For Mission project will strengthen the spiritual health of CrossPointe Church today and serve generations to come. As future believers gather to worship and carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to Monroe and beyond, this investment will continue to bear fruit for the glory of God.

Funding for this project will come from a combination of current savings, grant applications, bank financing, and the generous, sacrificial giving of the CrossPointe Church family and friends. Our goal is to raise $1 million in order to break ground on the Building For Mission project.

Because of the scale of the project, we will move forward in clearly defined phases:

Capital Campaign – Pt. 1

Raise approximately 50% of our total funding goal.

Celebrate this milestone together as a church family to encourage continued momentum and faithfulness.

Capital Campaign – Pt. 2

Complete the remaining fundraising goal.

Celebrate reaching our target and begin finalizing building plans in preparation for construction.

Groundbreaking

Launch the construction phase.

Our aim is to complete the new building within one year of breaking ground.

Celebrate the Opening

Come together for a unified worship service in the new facility—giving thanks to God and dedicating the space to His mission.

Renovate the Existing Facility

Begin renovation work on our current building to better support ministry needs and maximize our overall space for discipleship and community.

How Can You Help?

Pray

Join us in calling on God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ to “do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20–21). Pray that He would continue to fulfill His gospel mission in and through CrossPointe Church—for His glory and the good of all nations.

Give

Seek the Lord’s guidance in how He may be leading you to give—sacrificially and joyfully—of your time and financial resources (2 Corinthians 9:6–8). Whether through a one-time gift or an ongoing commitment, every offering given in faith fuels the mission to make Christ-centered disciples. Our prayerful desire is to complete this project free from debt.

GIVE NOW

Serve

Use your God-given gifts to build up the body of Christ here at CrossPointe (1 Corinthians 12:1–7). There is a place for everyone to serve as we press forward in the unchanging gospel mission. We are grateful for the mercy, grace, and love of God—fully revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ—and we serve in response to His great love.
